Creating A Separator -Tutorial

For a really long time, I was trying to find a tutorial to create a nice separator to use in navigation. I've seen these at many places, but wasn't able to make one myself. Yeah, I'm slow, I admit, but well, didn't get time to experiment can be used as an excuse, no? please?

anyway, after I was successful in creating this separator, I decided to keep some sample ones for future references, lest i forget [that's what happens when you dope too much.. you start forgetting things real soon.. don't dope kids.. lol! ].. so here is a simple tutorial i created for beginers and dopehats like me. hope this helps. and i hope to create more tutorials in time to come.
